Ravings of a fan-girl!

Since EJO appreciated the scrapbook/donation drive we did for his birthday last year, scarecrow1983 and I decided to do it again this year. However, we hope to get it done earlier than last year, because we want to give the scrapbook to him in person at the Basauri Con in Spain in early February 2010. Again we hope to get as many participants as possible, any contribution no matter what it is, is welcomed. Deadline is January 15th. Here is my humble contribution to the a/r MOL: a new music video to the song “This Moment” by Melissa Etheridge. Sorry that I’m only posting so late in the day, I know for some of you it’s already the 3rd of May, but youtube.com was being a pain and wouldn’t let me upload the video :-(. The fanmix by laharah inspired me to try and create my very first music video. I used the song “Collide” by Howie Day, which is my favorite song from the mix (thank you laharah for introducing me to this song *hugs*) and used clips from all 4 BSG seasons. SPOILERS up to “The Oath”

Ok it’s already after midnight, but I decided to post my picture of the scrapbook today (well, almost) in honor of Mr. Olmos’s birthday. The scrapbook should have arrived last week, so I hope he has seen it by now. If anyone wishes to see a higher-quality picture of his/her page, just e-mail or pm me and I’ll sent it to you asap. (I downsized the images so that you can’t really read the letter, because I figured not everyone wants his letter posted online.)

Please tell me what you think of the end result. Do you guys like the layout I came up with? Personally, I’m very satisfied with the outcome, but any suggestion for future improvements (yes, I had fun doing this and am tempted to do it again) are welcome.

Last but not least, I would like to thank everyone who contributed! Thanks for making this possible.

Finally the weekend of the FedCon was there. After spending the last week in an state of giddy anticipation and barely contained excitement it was time to get ready for the big event...

I know I'm a bit late for Mary's birthday, but since Marymas lasts all week, I humbly add some icons to the Marymas celebration! Hope you like them! Comments would be appreciated, but snag away anyway!

I made this collage as a small thank you to Starbuck92 for all the hard work she put into creating the scrapbook for Mary. It looks gorgeous and I thought Starbuck92 deserved her own little collage for her brilliant work. I hope she likes it!

Just to try this out, I'm still learning about life journal.

Ok, this is going to be a short update, because I don't have much time. Trish will pick me up from town in a little while.
i spend the last 2 days bewtgeen playing with Sophie and enjoying my new and fantatic BSG season 2 DVDs. I watched them all and than i fell alseep on the couch in the sitting room and slept for 6 hours straight! with light on, Tv running and everything! lol I must have been exhausted, because I never fall asleep in front of a TV. Anyway I'm over the moon with my DVDs and can't wait to watch them again.
Sophie is doing great. I brought her to school today (well with Richie)and she is now coming into my room every morning telling me: 'get up, Fran' (when i fell asleep on the couch, she couldn't find me and called my name through te house. lol)
I baby=sitted the last two nights, so that Riche&Trish could go out and it was great. Sophie even went to bed for me, though she later woke up telling me she had a pooh, but in reality she didn't! Sneaky, little one.
Tonight my finger nails will come off, but Trish is gonna do them again on Sunday. But shoert this time, i can't even put on my necklace by myself.
Well, I better go. myeb i can buy another book, before trish rings me.
I have to write postcards tonight!

Hi there,

so here I am back in Cork. I can't even describe what a weird feeling this is! Today is the first day that I'm out of the house (no bus to Cork from out there), but I@ enjoying my time with Sophie!!! She is the best girl ever and I spend the entire day yesterday playing with her, god that made me so happy. I even changed nappies and all the stuff I used to do, so it was just like coming home. She talks so much and understand every word you say! Most of the time she asks you: ‚what’s that?’ or she repeats everything you say! She even goes to the toilet and she know exactly what she wants! Boy do I love her. This morning Sophie woke me up and pulled me out of bed to her parents bed-room! Lol, but I wanted to get up anyway, because Richie dropped me into town so I could go shopping! I’ve been to most shops, but haven’t bought much yet. Though I’m goin to! I’m goin to buy the TNG book that I wanted since my last visit here 6 month ago! And at the moment, I think I’m goin to buy BSG season 2, even if it’s over 50 bucks. (brainy, I know I promised I wouldn’t buy it, if it’s more than 45 Euro, but I just can’t help myself! I can’ wait all those month, i just can’t buuuhuuu...And no one here to safe me! But i’m not goin to do much other shopping...)
The new house is brilliant, even if it’s so far out. I’m goin to monica’s later and play with Sophie tonigt! Yeah!
I might get my irish phone back, since monica doesn’t use it and clever me forgot her adapter for the irsh plugs, so I can’t recharge my phone. Frack! I’ll send texts if do!
well, I see when i’ can go back in town and post again, That’s enough for the first up-date! Besides I have 1=2cm long fingernails at the momemt (Trish is doing a course and I was her first guiney pig!) and typing is a real pain! In fact I even have problems getting dressed with these nails, took me ages to button my pants this morning! Lol
well, i’ll go spend money now...
